Bittersweet inspiration for this wine - our parents. Over our 20+ years together we've supported each other through the deaths of them all. During vintage 2024 we lost our family's last mother, last parent, last grandparent.
This wine is a little bit about the sadness of those branches of the family tree now being empty, but mostly it's about remembering them with gratitude for what we know we had.
