Pinot Noir Mardi Gras Masterclass
Each ticket includes a glass of Méthode Traditionnelle on arrival, masterclass tasting pours and Alexia ‘crostini quadratini’ taste plate.
Time: Arrive 2PM, for 2.15PM start, Saturday 12 July.
Location: Alexia Urban Winery, 197 West Street, Greytown.
The Details:
It’s Pinot…but not as you know it! Join Alexia for an informal (but still informative) masterclass - exploring the four very different expressions of Pinot Noir made by this tiny urban winery.
Take a seat, hear the stories, and taste the love put into each wine as Alexia co-owners Jane (also winemaker) and Lesley traverse the subjects of Méthode Traditionnelle, White Pinot Noir, Rosé, Pinot Noir, art and family.
By the end of this session you’ll be in the know about the Alexia back story and urban winery journey, how Alexia’s Rosé Méthode Traditionnelle is made, finally understand what White Pinot Noir is, learn about different Rosé styles, and have a whole new appreciation of why Wairarapa Pinot Noir is so unique.
At the end of the masterclass all wines tasted will be available to purchase to take home.
*R18. **No Dogs - space is at a premium sorry!
